A CSET® Terápiáról
What is CSET® Therapy?
CSET® Therapy is an innovative therapeutic method focusing on nerve-muscle function and connective tissue. It is designed to reduce pain, improve movement function, and support rehabilitation.
During treatment, deep connective tissue and fascial mobilisation is combined with targeted electrical impulses. The simultaneous application of these two forms of stimulation allows the treatment to address muscles, the fascial connective tissue system, and nerve-muscle function in an integrated way.
CSET® Therapy has been used in private healthcare and rehabilitation settings since 2023, primarily to support the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, restricted mobility, and functional problems.
How Does It Work?
CSET® Therapy is based on the interconnected function of the muscles, the fascial connective tissue system, and nervous system regulation.
The treatment aims to:
- reduce pain and muscle tension,
- improve the mobility of tight and restricted tissues,
- support local circulation,
- support nerve-muscle function,
- improve range of motion and movement function,
- support recovery and rehabilitation.
During treatment, specially designed applicators deliver targeted electrical impulses while the tissues are simultaneously mobilised manually.
What Conditions Can CSET® Therapy Support?
CSET® Therapy may be used to support treatment and rehabilitation for a range of musculoskeletal conditions and complaints, including:
- neck, back, and lower back pain,
- sciatica and nerve-related symptoms,
- shoulder and joint mobility restrictions,
- muscle tension and reduced range of motion,
- sports- and overuse-related complaints,
- problems associated with posture and movement patterns,
- fascial and connective tissue dysfunction,
- post-surgical rehabilitation,
- scars and tissue adhesions around scars,
- chronic musculoskeletal pain.
What Effects Can Be Expected?
Depending on the individual condition and response to treatment, CSET® Therapy may support:
- reduction of pain,
- reduction of muscle tension,
- improvement in range of motion and mobility,
- easier and freer movement,
- local circulation and tissue recovery,
- improvement in functional movement,
- rehabilitation and return to activity.
Individual responses to treatment may vary.
Personalised Treatment
CSET® Therapy does not follow the same treatment protocol for every patient. Treatment intensity, the areas treated, and the techniques used are adapted to the individual's current condition.
Factors taken into consideration include:
- the nature and location of pain,
- limitations in movement,
- the condition of muscles and connective tissues,
- functional impairments,
- individual rehabilitation goals.
The aim is not only to reduce symptoms, but also to support improved movement function so that everyday movement can become easier and more confident.
Important Information and Contraindications
CSET® Therapy does not replace medical diagnosis or necessary specialist or emergency medical care.
Certain medical conditions may require medical consultation before treatment begins.
In the presence of an implanted electronic device, acute infection, fever, or certain serious or acute medical conditions, treatment may be contraindicated or may only be performed following prior medical consultation.
Scar Treatment
CSET® scar treatment may be used following Caesarean section and other surgical procedures once the wound has healed appropriately.
A scar may affect more than the surface of the skin. Changes in the mobility of the surrounding and deeper tissues may continue to influence comfort and movement over time.
Treatment aims to improve the mobility of the scar and surrounding tissues, reduce tissue tightness and adhesions, and support tissue recovery.
C-Section Scar Treatment
A scar may affect not only the surface of the skin but also the mobility of the surrounding and deeper tissues. Tissue tightness and adhesions may persist even years after surgery and may influence comfort and movement.
CSET® scar treatment aims to improve the mobility of the scar and surrounding tissues, reduce tissue tightness and adhesions, and support local circulation and tissue recovery.
Even older C-section scars may be treated. Treatment can be performed provided that the scar is fully healed and there are no contraindications.
