The Story of CSET® Therapy
The Developer of CSET® Therapy
My name is Csilla Molnár. I am a rehabilitation therapist, physical therapist and health tourism economist. For more than 15 years, I have worked with manual and movement therapies, as well as connective tissue treatments.
Throughout my professional career, I have continuously explored and studied methods that support pain reduction and the restoration of movement. My further studies have included Eastern therapeutic traditions and movement and massage techniques, with approaches originating from Ayurveda and Mongolian, Tibetan, Chinese, Korean and Japanese therapeutic traditions, as well as gentle manual techniques and collagen-based pain management methods.
The knowledge I gained across these different fields, together with my practical work with patients and continuous development, led to the creation of my own therapeutic method, CSET® Therapy.
CSET® Therapy also has a personal significance for me. Following Covid, I developed musculoskeletal problems that, for a time, made it uncertain whether I would be able to continue my work. I applied the experience gained during the development of the method to my own rehabilitation, and it was during this process that CSET® Therapy reached its final, fully developed form. With the help of CSET® Therapy, I was gradually able to return to my professional work.
This experience further reinforced my belief that treatment should focus not only on reducing pain, but also on restoring movement and function. This approach continues to guide my work today: my goal is to use CSET® Therapy to support my patients in reducing pain, improving movement function, and returning to a more active life.
About CSET® Therapy
CSET® Therapy is an innovative, fascia- and movement-focused therapeutic method designed to reduce pain, improve movement function, and support rehabilitation.
The method combines deep connective tissue and fascial mobilisation with targeted electrical stimulation, with particular attention to the integrated treatment of muscles, the fascial connective tissue system, and nerve-muscle function.
I have been using CSET® Therapy in clinical practice since 2023, primarily in private healthcare and rehabilitation settings, to support the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, restricted mobility, and functional problems.
The Aim
The aim is to help patients regain freer, less painful movement, improve functional abilities and movement function, and support their return to a more active life.
Each treatment is individually tailored, taking into account the patient's current condition, symptoms, movement function, and rehabilitation goals.
Professional Background
CSET® Therapy is the result of more than 10 years of practical experience and continuous development. Its development has been influenced by rehabilitation, physiotherapy, physical therapy, Eastern and Western manual therapeutic approaches, and knowledge of the fascial connective tissue system.
The method continues to evolve based on practical experience, evaluation of treatment outcomes, and the integration of contemporary rehabilitation and therapeutic knowledge.
Treatment Approach
In CSET® Therapy, improving movement function is considered just as important as reducing pain.
For this reason, treatment does not focus solely on the painful area. We also take into account muscle function, the mobility of the fascial connective tissue system, nerve-muscle function, and the associated movement patterns.
